Our community partnerships have made our mission a reality. Some of our key partners in alphabetical order are:
The Architectural Resource Team (ART) is our architectural partner of choice and has led design and remodeling efforts to help us stretch our facility budgets at Collins Court, 209 W. Jackson, and Vista Colina properties while building "state of the art" modern apartments.

The Arizona Department of Housing led efforts to secure and renovate two of our key properties, North 17 and 209 W. Jackson, providing our community with 367 affordable housing units using Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds as allocated to our community.

The Arizona Public Service Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program (MEEP) promotes energy efficiency by providing high quality energy efficiency components to retrofit multifamily apartments. Collins Court Apartments was selected to participate in this program and received a generous $50,000 rebate from APS.

Bank of America provides very generous financial support through numerous grants to enhance facilities and programs that directly impact our tenant population.

Central Arizona Shelter Services’ (CASS) mission is to empower men, women and children with diverse needs to end their homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services. Since 1984, CASS’ shelters and programs have been serving the community’s most vulnerable, who often face nearly insurmountable barriers in ending their homelessness.

Circle the City Parsons Family Health Center is a non-profit organization that provides medical services and respite care for people who are currently homeless or have histories of homelessness. The Parsons Clinic Mobile Medical Unit provides medical outreach services to all the Arizona Housing, Inc. properties. They also send smaller outreach vans to transport residents to the Parsons Family Health Center for access to primary care physicians.

The City of Phoenix Housing Department led the way in purchasing a foreclosed and crime infested apartment complex in North Phoenix now known as Collins Court providing 80 modern and safe affordable housing units using Federal NSP funds as allocated to our community.

The City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department provided critical financial support using Federal Department of Energy funds allocated to our community to repair the large complex air conditioning and heating system at 209 W. Jackson.

Community Bridges, Inc., provides services in substance abuse prevention, education, and treatment services. It uses nationally recognized best practice treatment and prevention models as well as a peer support model to provide on-site support to all of its clinical programs. Peer support specialists provide individual counseling as well as support groups, educational classes, and referrals to other services offered by Community Bridges, Inc.

Dunlap & Magee has been our trusted provider of professional 24/7 property management services for all of our properties since 1995.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco in partnership with Alliance Bank of Arizona provided critical gap financing in the generous amount of $1.9M to facilitate the completion of 152 supportive housing units at the Collins Court and North 17 properties.

FirstBank provides our organization with credit card services and bridge loans for critical construction projects.

Fresh Express is a non-profit organization that provides affordable healthy food, fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and meat via their mobile market. Some of our properties are in neighborhoods without local grocery stores so Fresh Express provides tenants with access to healthy foods on a regular basis.

HOM, Inc. manages the HUD leasing grant on behalf of the Human Services Campus. HOM, Inc. is a private housing authority that specializes in operating housing programs for special populations and has been operating since 1994 serving thousands of households.

The Human Services Campus (HSC) coordinates the centralized intake of homeless individuals and partners with social service agencies to provide case managers to help individuals transition from homelessness into permanent supportive housing.

Lovitt & Touche is the professional insurance broker and advisor of choice serving all of our properties.

The Maricopa County Human Services Department was critical in securing and remodeling a large foreclosed property in downtown Phoenix which is now 209 W. Jackson using Federal NSP funds as allocated to our community.

One-n-ten
provides self-empowerment services and
programming for LGTBQA youth between the ages of 14-24. One-n-ten’s programs work with youth to help
them reach independence and learn new skills preparing for future success. One-n-ten’s
resource navigator team serves youth at one AHI location creating
individualized success plans and providing support groups, educational classes
and referrals to other services they offer.

Save the Family is a non-profit organization that provides transitional and supportive housing services to homeless individuals and families in the East Valley. They also are the grantee for the HUD Leasing Grant for our 209 West Jackson Street property. They are responsible for distributing leasing funds, verifying tenant applications and renewals and inspect apartments for compliance with HUD health and safety guidelines.

Valley of the Sun United Way provides generous ongoing support for supportive housing and other critical resident services.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Administration (VA) provides
case management and supportive services to Veterans living at AHI properties
through the Healthcare for the Homeless Veterans program. In partnership with
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the VA provides
housing vouchers for permanent housing to Veterans experiencing homelessness.
